This fantastic run, on fine paved paths through stunning scenery, takes you from the campsite at Glen Brittle right into the heart of Coire Làgan, a great, rocky amphitheatre bordered by towering gabbro crags, including the famous Inaccessible Pinnacle, part of the classic Cuillin Ridge traverse. From the campsite take the path as it climbs E into Coire Làgan. Continue ENE along the path, looping clockwise around the tiny loch that lies in the hollow at the base of Sgurr Mhic Choinnich. Return along the path W to the base of the Coire joining the equally spectacular NW path along the N side of Loch an Fhir-bhallaich to Glen Brittle. The wonderful, crystal clear Allt Coir’ a’ Mhadaidh pools and waterfalls are nearby, perfect for a post-run swim.
