From the start turn L onto the riverside path along the bank and through woodland to the road near Staverton (2 miles/3.2km). Continue on the path trending L around North Wood reaching the road by Old Parsonage Farm (2.9 miles/4.6km). Turn R onto the road then L onto a track leading south to the corner of the shops’ car park. Turn L here joining the signed cycle track south-east towards Totnes until you reach the estate road (4miles/6.4km). Turn L onto the road then R onto a footpath following the River Dart north-east (4.8miles/7.7km). Turn L away from the river and take the path uphill to the start.
