Head south-east on the well surfaced path out of the Plume of Feathers car park, passing South Hessary Tor and continuing towards Nun’s Cross Farm (1.7 miles/2.9km). Turn L leaving the main path and going east to a small road, turn R onto this and run to the end. Here it becomes a bridleway which you follow north-east across moorland to a path junction (4.2 miles/6.8km). Turn L and take the bridleway west past the Crock of Gold and back into Princetown.
