Start: Flodigarry car park, south of IV51 9HZ
Finish: Loch Leathan car park, south of IV51 9HX
Join the main tourist path south-west from the car park and through the Quiraing to the parking area on the road at NG 440679 (2.7 miles/4.4km). Cross and follow the much quieter path up the ridge to Bioda Buidhe at 466 metres. Continue south on the ridge keeping the steep cliffs to your L past Bealach nan Coisichean at 4.7 miles/7.6km and Bealach Uige at 5.6 miles/9km. Climb up to the trig point at 611 metres on Beinn Edra (7.2 miles/11.6km) and continue south over Beinn Mheadhonach then Groba nan Each at 575 metres. Continue south over Flasvein at 599 metres and then Creag a’ Lain at 609 metres where the ridge curves L (9.9 miles/15.9km). Follow it south-east, detouring to the summit of Sgurr a Mhadaidh Ruaidh at 593 metres then around to Baca Ruadh at 639 metres (11.3 miles/18.2km). Run south along the ridge bearing L over Hartavel at 669 metres then ascend to the trig point at 719 metres on The Storr (15 miles/24.2km). Follow the ridge down to Bealach Beag at NG 492531, turning L and descending the ridge to reach the A855 at Loch Leathan.
