Take the main track towards Cley Hill but turn R onto the Mid Wilts Way after the farm buildings. Just before the A36 leave the Mid Wilts Way and turn L onto a bridleway leading north-west, past Cley Hill Farm to a road at Water Farm. Turn L onto the road then L onto a footpath to the road at Corsley (3.4 miles/5.4km). Turn L on the road past the church, then R onto a footpath leading south across fields to the road at Corsley House. Turn R onto the road to a junction with the A362 and cross it onto a footpath to a smaller road. Turn R then L onto a footpath going east, re-crossing the A362 and passing Sturford Mead Farm before climbing to the summit of Cley Hill. Head south of the summit and along the track back to the start.
