Distance: 7.5 miles (11.5km)
Ascent: 130 metres
Start/finish: Richmond Gate, TW10 6RP

This route takes a clockwise lap of Richmond Park described from Richmond Gate. The other main entrances are Roehampton Gate to the north-east, Robin Hood Gate in the south-east and the Queen’s Road entrance in the south-west. Deviating our route from Robin Hood gate and turning R into the park will allow you to run through the Isabella Plantation and Hamcross Plantation before regaining the Tamsin Trail to the west. Or exit Richmond path at the Robin Hood Gate and extend the run by looping Wimbledon Common as well. We’d also recommend running one or more of the cross-park paths which are often quieter; Roehampton Gate to the central Pen Ponds and then along the Capital Ring path to Richmond Gate is enjoyable.
