Follow Clayhithe Road south-east and across the River Cam to Clayhithe. Turn L off the road onto the riverside path and then immediately R away from the river on the Fen Rivers Way. Turn R at the junction and follow the path south-west to a path junction near Horningsea (1.5 miles/2.4km). Turn L onto the Harcamlow Way, follow this path around the intriguingly named Stow cum Quy Fen until you reach Fen Road north of Lode (4.2 miles/6.7km). Turn L onto the road and follow it north-west to a sharp bend at Vicarage Farm. Leave the road and continue straight ahead on a path in the direction of the River Cam. Turn L and follow the riverside path back to Clayhithe. Turn R to return to the start.
