Follow Forest Road from the station into Charlbury, join Dyres Hill then turn R onto Market Street. Follow this onto Sheep Street then Hixet Wood, heading south. Turn L onto Woodstock Road and continue onto Stonesfield Lane. Continue at the end onto a track, following the Oxfordshire Way south-east along the edge of several fields past Hill Barn Cottages to a path junction at Highfield Farm (2.8 miles/4.5km). Turn L and follow the bridleway north to a junction by Newbarn Farm, turn L here and follow the Wychwood Way north-west across a road and past the end of Ditchley Road to a junction at SP 377210 (5.3 miles/8.6km). Turn L onto Hundley Way until you reach the B4022 into Charlbury. Follow Enstone Road to join the outbound route on Sheep Street, turn R to return to the start.
