Follow Station Approach then bear R onto Station Road, turning R onto Oddfellows Road and continuing to Main Road. Turn L then R onto Baulk Lane, out of Hathersage following footpaths heading north across fields to the road at North Lees. Turn R on the road then L onto a footpath heading north-east uphill to the road below Stanage Edge. Turn L onto the road then R onto a bridleway running uphill through Stanage Plantation, ascending to the wide path along the top (2.8 miles/4.5km). Turn R and follow the Sheffield Country Walk south-east along the edge to the road at Upper Burbage Bridge. Cross and follow the path R to Higger Tor (5.3 miles/8.5km). Turn R, crossing the road and following the footpath opposite around to the L and down to Hathersage. Cross the A6187 and follow it L for a short distance then R down a track to Back lane. Turn L on this and then L onto Station Road to finish.
