This circular route can be started at any point, picking up the regular waymakers.
We began this route on the Halifax Road near Charlestown, a couple of miles west of the Hebden Bridge train station.
From our start point the route is described in an anti-clockwise direction passing the following points: Widdop Reservoir, SD 936328 (7.2 miles/11.6km), Hurstwood Reservoir, SD 891320 (10.6 miles/17km), A646 at Holme Chapel (14.2 miles/22.8km), A681 in Waterfoot (21.6 miles/34.8km), A671 north of Rochdale (28.6 miles/46.1km), A6603 south of Walsden (37.3 miles/60km). The final section passes the Stoodley Pike Monument before dropping down to the start.
