We had a fantastic weekend at the Buxton Adventure Festival, meeting so many lovely and inspiring people and even managing to get along to a couple of talks, including a hugely enjoyable and motivating insight into the ‘edventures’ of the Meek Family (www.dotrythisathome.com).  We also had the amazing opportunity of presenting our first ever talk about Wild Running, which started a little nervously, then seemed to go well, and then descended into fun, family chaos as our three-year-old invaded the stage!  We were incredibly well supported by our session sponsors, the YHA, with whom we have recently been working to produce a great free guide to Wild Running from beautiful YHA locations around the country.  You can download the whole brochure, complete with lots of inspiring photos, for free on the RunYHA website. We’re also delighted to be working with the YHA on a bigger running guide in the spring and their YHA Castleton event on the 8th-10th May.  The Trail Running Workshop, led by Dave Taylor (www.fellrunningguide.co.uk) and sponsored by Trail Running Magazine, was a great success and we really enjoyed chatting to the runners over plenty of cake at the end!  Fortunately the sun shone for the whole day, making for perfect trail running conditions.  Check out our Facebook page for lots of photos of the workshop.

We showed a quick GoPro movie of Sim running over Greator Rocks on Dartmoor.  Check it out here.
