Turn R out of the car park following the Wales Coast Path north out to St David’s Head. Continue on the coast path past Coetan Arthur, trending north-east to Penllechwen (2.5 miles/4km). Turn inland, following a zig-zagging path to the saddle between Carnedd-Ileithr and Carn Perfedd, detouring to the top of either for fantastic coastal views. Then continue south, turning R at the bottom of the hill and L at the next junction. Turn R at Treleddyd-fawr Farm and follow the path to reach Llaethdy. Turn R here, then L below the burial chambers on Carn Llidi Bychan (another worthwhile detour). Turn L past Upper Porthmawr and back to the B4583, turning R to return to the start.
