From the square in central Aberfeldy follow the main road west then turn L, signed to the Birks, and run through a small park and up to the A826. Cross this and run through the car park on the R and come to the Moness Burn. A little further upstream cross the bridge to the L and follow the eastern bank of the Moness Burn uphill through the woodland. Pass the viewpoint of the waterfall and then turn R across a small footbridge at the top of the gorge. Follow the west side back down heading north across the waterfall bridge and back down to the start.
