Set off north from the car park and turn L onto the open common area, taking paths north-west uphill to reach a track. Turn L, running south-west parallel to the road to a sharp corner at ST 541711 (1mile/1.7km). Turn R then R at the next junction, trend L now to the main track along the edge of the golf course, turn R on this and follow it to the path junction at ST 554723 (2.4 miles/3.8km). Turn R onto the path to Ashton Court, stay R of the buildings and choose the smaller path through woodland to the open area at the beginning of the run. Turn L and return across it to the start.
