Start/finish: Earl Sterndale, SK17 0BU

Follow the path west from the village, crossing the B5053 and turning R at the next two junctions, then follow a footpath through Glutton Grange and north to a path junction at SK 082677 (1.2 miles/2km). Turn L and follow the path to join the road up Dowel Dale. Continue on the road then turn L on a track to Stoop Farm. Follow the footpath L again skirting the edges of fields south-east and up the ridge of Chrome Hill. Continue along the ridge, descending the steep side and crossing another field and lane. Continue over Parkhouse Hill to the path near Glutton Grange, turning R then L to return to Earl Sterndale.
